Project Title: The Soft Structure Line- Sensory Friendly workwear for women with Sensory Sensitivities
Date: November 7, 2025
Team Members: Elly College, Hasie Cambrone, Hagen Wells, Ella Debow
Executive Summary
Target Consumer
Our collection targets working women ages 22-29 who experience sensory sensitivities and seek clothing that feels soft, calm, and professional. This demographic is often overlooked in the apparel market and needs clothing that provides both physical comfort and confidence in professional environments.
Design Vision
The soft structure line blends minimalism, tactile comfort, and accessibility. Each garment integrates functional features like flat seams, tagless labels, and magnetic closures. While still maintaining clean lines and an elevated modern style. The aesthetic communicates calm confidence with a soft neutral color palette and fluid silhouettes.
Market Opportunity
The appearance lacks inclusive, sensory-friendly options that still feel refined and professional. Our goal is to fill that gap with an approachable collection designed for women who value simplicity, softness, and ease of wear.
Success metrics
-Consistent aesthetic direction across all garments
-Cohesive team integration of moodboards, materials, and sketches
-Timely completion of Milestone 8 deliverables
-Positive peer/ instructor feedback on inclusivity and function

Team growth
Since week 4, our team has developed stronger documentation habits, better problem-solving under stress, and clearer boundaries for accountability
Collaboration evolution
We now follow our contract structure for deadlines and responsibilities. It helped prevent miscommunication and made the integration phase feel more professional.
Professional development
This experience has taught us how to merge individual creative work into one cohesive line, a key skill for future design collaboration.
Stress and resilience management
We've built short check-ins and humor into our process. Remind each other of tasks early and share drafts to reduce stress.
Conclusion
Team's 7 soft structure line brings together comfort, accessibility, and refined minimalism for a marginalized consumer group that's rarely represented in unprofessional apparel design. Our plan outlines a clear direction, accountability, and practical production steps for delivering a cohesive, inclusive collection.
