The project is a focus on developing dresswear which can be worn by individuals who suffer from sensory issues with regular clothing. The clothing in question aims for a target audience of young adult women, with ages varying at around 22-28, however if other age ranges wish to wear them then they should feel free to. These issues can range from thick seams which rub against their body, tags on the collar which can do similar, fabrics which are scratchy and irritative, and patterns which are too complicated and distracting. By making dresswear that has more of these traits, we can create a more comfortable experience for people interested in the clothing while remaining inclusive to those who are constantly having to shop with those necessities in mind.
Mood board design wise, I am happy with how it has turned out. It has given off the comfortable aesthetic which I was hoping to get across to those viewing and I did wonderfully with it. The dresses fit the tight silhouette which help those with sensory issues and the aesthetic choices fits Emily's feel of comfortable and organized very well. The patterns are effective in helping with not negatively effecting those in that way.
